  • What is Cryotherapy?
    • Whole Body Cryotherapy is the process of exposing the body to ultra-low temperatures for a short period of time (1 1/2 to 3 minutes) inside of a single-person Cryo Chamber to quickly cool the body for therapeutic and recovery purposes.
  • Does Cryotherapy hurt?
    • Cryotherapy does not hurt.  It is cold, but it is not painful
  • Are there any side effects to Cryotherapy?
    • There are not any side effects with Cryo
  • Am I eligible for Cryotherapy?
    • Most people can do Cryo, you must be at least 18 years of age, and you will need a parent or guardian to sign for you.  We do go through an extensive health history form with each client to make sure that Cryo is safe for each individual.
  • How long do you stay in?
    • Your Cryo session last anywhere between 90 seconds and 3 minutes
  • How soon do you see results?
    • For the best benefit you want to do your first 6-10 sessions close together, every day to every other day.
  • Do you have to be naked?
    • We give you wool socks, and slippers to wear, you are also given gloves/mittens.  Undergarments are worn as well.
  • Isn’t being subjected to such a cold temperature harmful for the body?
    • Because Cryo is such a short duration, and the cold is a dry cold vs a wet cold it does not harm the skin, or the body.
  • What are some of the benefits of Cryotherapy compared to other methods of therapy?
    • Cryo has many benefits some of the ones people come in for is reducing pain, and inflammation in the body, decreasing post work out soreness, improved sleep, and increased energy.
